Wave Dragon is a large wave energy conversion device developer of the overtopping type with a rated capacity of 1.5 to 12MW.
Backed by over 20,000 hours of grid-connected prototype operation (58 m device width, 7 turbine generators) at Nissum Bredning in Denmark, Wave Dragon has achieved a breakthrough in practical and efficient wave energy conversion. Each Wave Dragon unit have 8-24 special designed propeller turbines installed with a power of 185-500kW. The rotational speed is 100-300 rpm.
